Accounts Receivable Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  pre-call analysis

  and verify claim status via payer call, IVR, or web portals.
• Document activities in client software ensuring a clear

  audit trail

  for compliance.
• Conduct

  post-call analysis

  and record after-call actions.
• Research medical records, EOBs, authorizations, and physician notes prior to payer calls.
• Analyze AR data to identify underpayments, denials, and days in A/R.
• Ensure accurate

  claim processing and submission

  to insurance carriers.
• Handle denial status checks, eligibility verification, and appeals.
• Convert

  denials into successful payments

  through proactive follow-up.
• Achieve weekly/monthly

  productivity and audit targets

  .

Basic Requirements

• Minimum Education:

  HSC / Graduate or equivalent.

• Experience:

  2+ years in AR follow-up / Denial Management (US Healthcare).
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Knowledge of

  ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC codes

  .
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Willing to work in

  night shifts

  .

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PM systems like

  NextGen, eCW, CareCloud, DocuTAP

  .
• Familiarity with clearinghouses:

  Waystar, Realmed, Availity, Change Healthcare, ViaTrack

  .
• Good command of

  MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets

  .

Other Skills

• Strong

  analytical & organizational skills

  .
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Assertive in resolving unpaid claims.
• Capable of handling

  high volumes of claims

  efficiently.
