Role Description & Responsibilities

• Understanding of PTP life cycle
• Perform month-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts payable balances and preparing accruals
• Managing vendor relationships and resolving any related issues.
• Analyze and reconcile accounts payable ledgers and maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness on daily tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual period closings
• Clear understanding on INDIA financial tax and accounting rules
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Understanding on the difference between 3rd party and Interco suppliers
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to management
  

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or comparable field
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
