Accounts Payable Manager

Role Overview As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing leadership, operational rigor, and proactive communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Your role demands strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure compliance with controls and SOPs. Key Responsibilities - Provide oversight on leadership and escalation processes within the organization, including root-cause correction and fostering accountability in vertical finance teams. - Manage vendor and invoice processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices with three-way matching and enforcing vendor selection protocols. - Handle marketing and advertising disbursements, lease obligations, employee reimbursements, and petty cash processing. - Execute and control credit card and prepaid card usage and reconciliations. - Validate financial transactions for compliance with approval hierarchies and audit trails, ensuring complete GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. - Maintain accurate mapping of expenses to cost centers, track spend variances against budget, and ensure audit-ready documentation for all AP transactions. - Support audits by preparing complete AP schedules and documentation, driving process enhancements, and conducting regular compliance checks. - Generate MIS reports, vendor aging summaries, and fund flow forecasts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve queries and enforce policy compliance. Qualifications & Skills - Education: Masters in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting, CA Inter - Professional Experience: 5+ years of AP experience in multi-unit, multi-state organizations, strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and compliance documentation, prior ERP experience (Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar) - Skills & Attributes: Strong financial controls and risk assessment skills, excellent communication skills, assertive and proactive mindset, attention to detail, ability to manage high-volume operations.
