Accounts Officer (Vessel Budget Controller)

You will be responsible for optimizing the cost of operations of standard business processes without compromising on efficiency and effectiveness. - Prepare and present quotations to prospective and existing clients for new business, ensuring follow-up until the final outcome is achieved. - Submit and follow up on annual budget and lump sum proposals for existing clients" vessels. - Update SMC lien managers on relevant terms/conditions and prepare necessary addenda to agreements, ensuring proper adjustments are made. - Provide support for Fleet Personnel department and Fleet Teams during monthly variance reporting. - Maintain updated financial data for individual clients" crew budgets and report any deviations to the CFO's office monthly. - Liaise with internal departments, SMCs, and VASs to assist with management-related queries/reports. - Explore cost efficiency initiatives, propose improvements, and prepare management information and reporting as required. - Provide analytical and administrative support as necessary. - University degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent. - 3-6 years or more of relevant work experience, preferably in Ship Management. - Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. - Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, statements, and projections. - Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, attention to detail, and good interpersonal and communication skills. - Understanding of local/regional maritime market conditions, excellent people management skills, and fluency in English.,
