Accounts Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the plywood manufacturing unit, ensuring accuracy in accounting, compliance with statutory regulations, maintaining records, and supporting factory management in making financial decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control reports. - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and yearly). - Maintain books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards. - Ensure GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory filings are completed on time. - Handle internal and external audits (statutory, tax, cost, etc.). - Ensure compliance with all state and central tax regulations. - Coordinate with production, procurement, and store departments to track inventory, raw materials, and cost of production. - Monitor costings and suggest measures to control wastage and increase profitability. - Manage cash flow and working capital requirements. - Liaise with banks for fund management, loans, and other facilities. - Supervise and guide junior accountants or clerical staff. - Ensure accuracy in data entry, invoice generation, and documentation. Qualification Required: - Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter - Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in factory accounts, preferably in plywood or manufacturing sector Additional Details: The company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement and Provident Fund.
