Accounts & Finance Manager Capital Markets & Lending Operations

As the Finance Manager for the Capital Markets desk and Lending Operations, your role involves overseeing and leading the accounting and finance functions for both segments. Your responsibilities include: - Leading and managing the accounting & finance functions for the Capital Markets desk and Lending Operations, which includes maintaining books of account, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end & year-end closing processes. - Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the capital markets & lending segments, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. - Implementing and monitoring accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance for operations, such as SEBI and other applicable regulations for capital markets. - Overseeing lending operations finance activities, such as loan origination accounting, interest income recognition, provisioning, NPLs, collections accounting, and write-offs. - Coordinating with risk, operations, and treasury teams to align finance with business decisions, such as funding cost, asset-liability matching, and capital market trades. - Conducting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the capital markets & lending operations portfolio. - Managing audits, both internal and external, statutory filings, tax compliance, and liaising with auditors and regulators. - Mentoring and leading a team of accountants and finance executives, and setting up process improvements, automation, and dashboards. - Staying current with accounting standards, regulatory changes, and best practices in the finance of capital markets and lending operations. Your experience in Capital Markets, Lending Operations, and Accounts & Finance for at least 7 years is preferred for this full-time role. The work location is in-person.
