Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 4 to 10 years of experience in accounting and finance to join our team as a UK Accounts Finalization specialist in Phagwara, Punjab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statements preparation, reconciliation, and finalization.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare financial statements from clients' books using FRS 102 and other relevant standards.
Reconcile bank statements, depreciation, debtors ledger, creditors ledger, VAT, and PAYE.
Investigate possible errors or discrepancies in the company's financial records by checking documentation and notifying management when necessary.
Input all payments, expenses, and other financial transactions into accounting software to streamline the company's accounting records system.
Perform end-of-year journal adjustments and general ledger scrutiny to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure timely and accurate finalization of accounts, including preparing bank reconciliations and other financial reports.

Job Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 105, and other relevant accounting standards.
Experience in reconciliation, auditing, and taxation is desirable.
A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is preferred; a Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) is an added advantage.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
