Job Specification
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: MADURAI
Reports To: Senior Accounts Executive / Accounts Manager
Experience: 1–3 Years in Accounting (preferably Jewelry/Retail Industry)
Qualification: B. Com / M. Com / MBA Finance (Tally, ERP, or SAP knowledge preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping – Maintain accurate records, record daily vouchers, petty cash, and ensure entries are correctly posted in ERP (Tally/SAP/Oracle).
Accounts Receivable – Record invoices, track collections, generate debtor aging reports, and escalate overdue accounts to seniors.
Accounts Payable – Record vendor bills, prepare vouchers, reconcile balances, and support timely vendor payments.
Bank & Cash Management – Update daily cash/bank books, assist in bank reconciliations, track cheque deposits, and report to seniors.
Jewelry Stock Support – Record stock movements, assist in valuation entries, match ERP stock with physical stock, and help in monthly reconciliations.
Compliance & Audit Support – Assist in GST/TDS working files, maintain documentation, and provide vouchers/supporting files for audits.
ERP Operations – Daily transaction entries, ensure coding accuracy, report mismatches, and support automation features.
Reporting & MIS Support – Prepare daily sales/purchase/cash reports, provide accurate data to seniors for P&L/Balance Sheet preparation.
Team Coordination & Learning – Support senior team members, participate in training, and proactively learn jewelry-specific processes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy and timeliness of daily accounting entries and reconciliations.
Zero major errors in ERP entries.
On-time submission of basic reports (sales, purchase, cash, bank).
Effective support in GST/TDS documentation and audit readiness.
Accuracy in jewelry stock entries and reconciliations.
Positive feedback from seniors and auditors on support tasks.
