Job Description

Job Title:

Accounts Executive

Purpose of the Job:

To manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure tax compliance (GST, TDS), assist in audit processes, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily accounting transactions record all sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and bank transactions in

    Tally

    and

    Zoho

    .
  2. Ensure expenses are booked under proper ledger heads and TDS is deducted as per applicable sections.
  3. Ensure

    GST compliance

    including tax on RCM, advance receipts, and unregistered dealers.
  4. Scrutinize sundry creditors and prepare weekly/monthly outstanding reports.
  5. Handle

    bank book

    and prepare

    cheques/RTGS forms

    for vendors, suppliers, and statutory payments.
  6. Reconcile sundry debtors regularly.
  7. Maintain physical records of:
  8. Vendor invoices
  9. Sales invoices
  10. Employee expenses
  11. Inward and outward remittances
  12. Assist CA in internal audit processes.
  13. Quarterly verification of

    Form 16A

    and

    Form 26AS

    .
  14. Calculate and reconcile employee expenses.
  15. File

    GST returns

    and make online GST payments.
  16. Assist in the preparation of

    balance sheets

    ,

    income statements

    , and other financial statements.
  17. Support in

    monthly/yearly financial closings

    , audits, and other accounting projects.
  18. Monitor and track company

    loans, advances, and investments

    .
  19. Prepare monthly compliance cost reports.
  20. Regularly monitor the

    TRACES website

    for TDS-related compliance.
  21. Perform other

    ad hoc duties

    as required.

Qualifications Experience:

  1. Minimum Qualification:

    Graduate (B.Com or similar)
  2. Specialization/Certification:

    Accounting or Finance preferred
  3. Experience:

    1 2 years in a similar accounting role

Other Key Skills:

  1. Proficiency in

    Tally ERP 9

    ,

    Zoho Books

    , and

    MS Office

    (especially Excel)
  2. Good understanding of

    GST

    ,

    TDS

    , and

    basic accounting principles

  3. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping

  4. Ability to manage documentation and assist in audits

  5. Organized and proactive in financial reporting
