Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive / Senior Executive with hands-on experience in sales accounting in the eCommerce sector (B2B & B2C). The ideal candidate should have experience working with Tally ERP, Unicommerce, and other warehouse/inventory management platforms. The role demands ownership of accurate sales recording, GST compliance, reconciliation, and team coordination to ensure timely reporting and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily booking of sales invoices in warehouse management software like Unicommerce and integration with Tally.
• Ensure timely recording of sales across various eCommerce platforms in Tally, maintaining platform-wise accuracy.
• Ensure accurate and periodic sales booking closures in coordination with the GST return cycle (GSTR-1, 3B, 9).
• Handle and ensure compliance related to GST, e-Invoicing, and reconciliation between books and GST portal.
• Create and maintain branch transfer entries and gate pass challans accurately in Tally.
• Assist in establishing and monitoring internal financial controls related to sales and warehouse accounting.
• Lead and guide a small team of junior accountants to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
• Regularly prepare and share sales reconciliation reports and unresolved issues with senior management.
• Coordinate with the warehouse, operations, and IT team to streamline invoicing and platform-wise order reconciliations.
• Support statutory audit and internal audit processes with timely and accurate information related to sales data.
• Ensure timely completion of purchase entries in accordance with GRN, keep track of stock in transit, and on a sample basis, pick any invoice to check whether the GRN is done as per all required supportings for correctness of booking.

Candidate Profile:

Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (Preferred)

Experience:
4-5 years of experience in eCommerce sales accounting (B2B & B2C)

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of Tally ERP, Unicommerce, and other warehouse/inventory management tools
• Good understanding of GST laws and e-invoicing norms
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
• Team leadership and coordination ability
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to work with tight deadlines
• Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams
