Accounts Clerk

As an Accounting Clerk specializing in Accounts Receivable Transactions at Regenesys Business School, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Daily reconciliations of Accounts Receivable (AR) accounts to ensure timely processing of invoices and receipts - Conversion of quotes into invoices and processing them accordingly - Verification of debtors" receipts and monitoring and escalating defaulting debtors - Resolving queries promptly and effectively, along with proper document management - Handling GL transactional accounting and reconciliations - Generating reports to support financial reconciliations - Embracing automation and maintaining a paperless environment - Investing in self-development and training - Collaborating closely with an effective and motivated team Qualifications and Experience required for the role: - Post matric diploma or degree in Accounting - Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly in Excel - Experience with accounting systems like Sage Evolution would be advantageous - Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk specializing in AR Transactions - Prior experience in an academic institution would be beneficial - Possession of a car and a valid driving license Skills and Personal Qualities needed: - Ability to work effectively under pressure with consistent attention to detail and accuracy - Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy individual - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of handling challenging situations - Strong troubleshooting skills, solution-oriented, and quick learner - A hands-on, inspiring, and motivating team leader - Professional demeanor and an embracer of diversity Please note that the salary offered for this position is market-related and will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience.,
