Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant with at least 1 year of accounting experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Tally or other accounting software, and the ability to manage daily accounting operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally, Excel, etc.)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor payments
• Prepare GST filings and support in tax compliance
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and update financial records and documents

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GST filing and TDS returns
• Familiarity with financial audits and statutory compliance
