Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and posting of accounting entries.
• Input cash and bank vouchers on a daily basis.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of cash and bank statements.
• Maintain and monitor the petty cash register with proper supporting documents.

2. Period-End Closing

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of accounts.
• Prepare journals, adjustments, and reconciliation schedules as needed.

3. Reporting & Coordination

• Coordinate with the Head Office for all Accounts & Finance related reports.
• Prepare and maintain Accounts & Tax related trackers, MIS reports, and financial summaries.
• Provide necessary information and support to internal and statutory auditors.

4. Compliance & Upgradation

• Stay updated with recent changes in Accounting & Taxation (e.g., GST updates).
• Ensure that all accounting practices comply with company policies and statutory regulations.

5. System & Software Knowledge

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, and Internet-based accounting tools is essential.
