Accounting Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist at Teradata, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly accounts submissions for the assigned country. You will play a crucial role in submitting and processing adjustments promptly, interfacing subledgers correctly with the General Ledger, researching and resolving accounting issues, and performing account reconciliations. Working within the Indian Finance Centre, you will collaborate with the Team Leader and other team members to deliver accurate and timely accounting information to Teradata organizations in APAC or America. Your role will involve close coordination with specialized departments to provide a superior level of service. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business discipline, along with 1 to 4 years of experience in a large multinational organization, preferably within a Shared Services Centre. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Outlook is essential, and experience with ERPs like SAP/Oracle & HFM would be advantageous. Fluency in English, a proactive and results-oriented attitude, and a strong ability to collaborate with team members and business units are key qualities we are looking for.
