Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager at Arora Engineers, Inc., based in Chadds Ford, PA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all activities of the accounting department staff effectively contribute to the achievement of the department and company's objectives. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: - Coordinating and assisting with the setup of projects, including systems, processes, and maintenance activities to meet project-related accounting requirements. - Assisting with month-end close processes and managing client rate letters/schedules and tables within the ERP System. - Reviewing contracts for billing-related instructions and updating cash flow forecasts. - Collaborating with project managers on collection strategies and key financial reports. - Leading, training, and supporting the project accounting team. - Providing senior management with timely financial information and engaging in continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and systems. Qualifications: - 7-10 years of Billing Supervisor experience along with a BS/BA/AS in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business area. - Familiarity with project billing software like DELTEK VISION or Vantage Point is a plus. - Previous experience in Project Accounting, particularly in architecture or engineering services, would be beneficial. - Strong knowledge of professional service firm accounting systems and project accounting. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, particularly MS Excel, Power Point, Power BI. - Excellent problem-resolution and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy. - Exceptional communication skills with a focus on writing, editing, and proofreading in English. Additionally, you should be able to develop and maintain productive business relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors. Your role may also involve other duties as assigned by the Controller or CFO.
