Job Description

You are invited to join our team as an Accounting and Back Office Assistant, where your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a crucial role. In this dual-function role, you will support the accounting department in their financial tasks and contribute to various back office functions. Your comprehensive understanding of basic accounting principles, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities, will be instrumental in managing a variety of administrative duties efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: - Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records. - Establishing and managing filing systems for financial documents and reports. - Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports. - Supporting tax filing and reporting procedures. - Assisting in audit processes and preparing relevant documentation. In the realm of back office assistance, you will: - Undertake administrative tasks like data entry, filing, and document management. - Update and maintain office records, systems, and databases. - Manage incoming calls, emails, and office correspondence effectively. - Support in handling office supplies and inventory management. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless office operations. - Provide necessary support to management and team members when required. Our preferred qualifications include: - An associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Prior experience in accounting, finance, or office administration is advantageous. - Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. This is a full-time position with benefits including paid sick time. The work schedule is during morning shifts, and proficiency in English is preferred. The job requires in-person work at our location.,
