Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain and manage fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation calculation, asset disposals, and reconciliation of fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Prepare and review month-end accruals related to P2P transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany, accruals, and fixed asset accounts.
Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, and operations) to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Assist in internal and external audit requests related to fixed assets and P2P transactions.
Identify process improvements and assist in the automation of accounting processes within the P2P cycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on fixed asset accounting and general ledger activities.
Strong knowledge of month-end closing processes, accruals, balance sheet reconciliation, and journal entries.
Understanding of depreciation methods and fixed asset lifecycle management.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and accounting software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
