Job Description

Site Accountant

Role & responsibilities:

Handle
day-to-day accounting
and financial transactions at the project site.
Perform
SAP data entry
and ensure timely posting of all site-related transactions.
Process and verify
vendor, subcontractor, and hire bills
in coordination with the site and head office teams.
Check and ensure
statutory compliance
(GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.) of subcontractors and vendors.
Prepare and process
Fund Requisition (FR)
and coordinate with the HO for timely fund flow.
Conduct
site stock verification
and
fixed asset verification
at regular intervals.
Maintain accurate
records of project expenses, petty cash, and site advances.
Support in preparation of
MIS reports
, reconciliation statements, and audit documentation.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal control systems.
Liaise with project, procurement, and HO accounts teams for smooth financial operations.

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience:
810 years of experience in
site accounting
within the
infrastructure, construction, or EPC industry.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in
SAP (FI/MM modules)
.
Sound knowledge of
Excel, Tally
, and other accounting tools.
Familiar with
statutory compliance
related to subcontractors.

Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently at project sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Good communication and documentation skills.
