Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Revenue Recognition & MIS

• Ensure compliance with IND AS/IFRS for revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly revenue MIS and profitability reports by product/customer.

2. Freight Working & Cost Control

• Validate freight invoices, maintain rate masters, and post accruals.
• Analyze freight cost variances and optimize routes.

3. Invoice Processing & Follow-up

• Process vendor invoices with 3-way match and GST/TDS checks.
• Follow up on customer invoices for timely collections and reduce DSO.

4. Fixed Assets Management

• Handle asset booking, capitalization, and reconciliation (FA register vs GL).
• Ensure timely depreciation and disposal accounting.

5. Payroll Processing & Labour Compliance

• Manage payroll inputs, processing, and statutory filings (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and contractor audits.

6. Customs & Export Incentives

• Ensure adherence to customs rules, HSN classification, and documentation.
• Compute and claim export incentives (RoDTEP, GST refunds).

7. Incoterms & Trade Compliance

• Validate Incoterms in contracts and shipping documents to mitigate risks.

• Revenue close accuracy and timeliness.

• Payroll accuracy 99.9%.
• 100% statutory compliance (labour, customs, GST).

Essential Skills

• Strong accounting knowledge (IND AS/IFRS).
• ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle), advanced Excel, Power BI.
• Knowledge of GST, customs rules, Incoterms, and labour laws.
• Analytical mindset for profitability and cost analysis.
• Communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or B.Com with specialization in accounting/tax.
• 4-8 years in finance operations, compliance, and reporting
