Job Title: Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. This role involves preparing reports, reconciling accounts, handling taxation matters, and assisting in audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other applicable laws.
Coordinate with auditors during internal audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com or equivalent).
Proven experience in accounting or finance role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
Office-based role with standard working hours; occasional extended hours during audits or year-end closing.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
