About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant on behalf of our client in Kannur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing financial insights that help the business grow efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/ERP).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax filings and compliance.
• Assist with audits (internal and external).
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with CA/consultants for statutory matters.
• Maintain records for all transactions and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting tools.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Candidates currently based in Kannur or willing to relocate.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/trading/services environment.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kannur, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
