Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting decision-making by providing accurate financial information. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and assisting in audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger, trial balance, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage customer billing, accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliation
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.).
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and supporting records.
• Support with MIS reports and other ad hoc financial analysis.
• Performing such other duties as required as per the needs of the company

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA Inter preferred).
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical mindset.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
