Accountant

You will be responsible for financial reporting, including preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This involves ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. In addition, you will handle account reconciliation by reconciling bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records. Your role will also include investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial reports. As part of general accounting duties, you will maintain and update accounting records and financial transactions. This will involve posting journal entries and ensuring proper documentation of transactions. You will need to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures, as well as support external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and reports. Compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws is essential. In the area of tax preparation, you will assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring that tax filings are timely and accurate. You will also help with budgeting and forecasting, participating in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Financial analysis will be another key aspect of your role, as you provide financial insights and reports to management. This will involve analyzing financial data to identify trends and variances. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement and internet reimbursement. The preferred education level is a Bachelor's degree. Ideal candidates will have 3 years of experience in accounting, with proficiency in Tally software. Knowledge of and experience in total work for 3 years is also preferred.
