Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing timely financial reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the full set of accounts and finance functions independently, in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely update and documentation of accounting records.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions efficiently.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and accounting schedules.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for inter-company balances.
• Monitor and prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports.
• Liaise with auditors and complete statutory accounts with minimal supervision.
• Prepare payroll and manage employees’ expense claims, including review and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA are highly preferred.
• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
