Job Description: Accountant

Position Title: Accountant
Location: Lalru-Handesra Road, Village Malakpur, P.O. Lalru, Dera Bassi, SAS Nagar, Punjab – 140501
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Marital Status: Married
Availability: Ready to Join Immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, billing, and reconciliation.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Use accounting software (Tally, Excel, etc.) for data entry and report generation.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
• Ability to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and finalization of accounts.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting (preferred).
• Candidates from Lalru, Dera Bassi, or nearby areas will be given preference.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

• Dera Bassi, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Tally: 3 years (Preferred)
