Accountant (Payroll, Invoicing & Bookkeeping)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payroll accounting, invoicing, and bookkeeping. This is an onsite role aligned with US business hours, ideal for someone looking to grow their career in a fast-paced and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain employee payroll accurately and on schedule
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Create and send invoices to clients/vendors and follow up on payments
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and account reconciliation
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Coordinate with internal teams for expense tracking and approvals
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Support in tax preparation and audit processes as required

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a payroll or bookkeeping role
• Sound knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or any standard accounting software
• Strong proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a timely manner
• Comfortable working in evening shifts (US Time Zone)
