Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Tax Preparation and Filing: Prepare and file company tax returns (including corporate income tax, MAT, etc.) Handle individual tax filings (employees, business owners) Manage all aspects of GST (registration, returns, ITC, e-way bills, reconciliation) Manage TDS (deduction, deposit, filing returns, issuing certificates) Calculate and pay advance tax installments Ensure compliance with other relevant taxes (P.Tax, VAT, Service Tax) File online income tax returns (including BRS) and handle related tasks Company Law and Compliance: Stay updated on and ensure adherence to all relevant company laws and regulations Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform daily bank and cash book reconciliations Maintain general ledger accounts and bank books Manage accounts payable and receivable Prepare Trial Balance and finalize accounts at month-end and year-end Enter data into Tally software (familiarity with other accounting software a plus) Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) in Tally Payroll Processing: Manage employee salary packages and prepare monthly salaries Handle EPF, ESI, GSLI, and LIC deductions and related work Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CA, or equivalent qualification Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Strong understanding of Indian tax laws (Direct & Indirect Taxes) and accounting principles Proficiency in Tally software and basic knowledge of other accounting software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills
