Job Description

Job Title: Accountant
Location: Patna, India
Salary: ₹12,000 - ₹18,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements and reports as required.
Manage GST, TDS, and other tax compliances.
Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and ensure timely submission.
Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursement.
Handle bank transactions and reconciliations.
Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, ITR filing, and tax regulations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an IT or service-based company is a plus.
Familiarity with payroll processing and statutory compliances.
