Job Description

Kiner Kailash Jewellers, a trusted name with years of legacy in traditional gold jewellery, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily financial operations and ensure accurate accounting practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and inventory handling, preferably with experience in the jewellery or retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily books of accounts, including cash, bank, sales, and purchase entries
• Handle GST compliance: returns, reconciliation, and documentation
• Manage billing, invoicing, and customer ledger records
• Maintain accurate gold stock, inventory records, and wastage tracking
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks when required
• Handle TDS, income tax-related entries, and statutory compliances
• Ensure accuracy in accounting software and manual records
• Monitor expenses, payments, and vendor accounts

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Accountant (jewellery/retail experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax rules
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / similar software preferred)
• Good understanding of inventory and stock management
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and financial discipline

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a jewellery showroom or retail business
• 8-10 Years of experience in the field
• Familiarity with gold accounting, purity records, and valuation practices
