Accountant

Roles & Responsibility

• Assist with bookkeeping (Tally), inter-company transactions, invoicing and payroll, GST, TDS, PT, PF related activities/compliance .
• Prepare periodic managerial financial reports.
• Oversee legal and regulatory requirements along with diligent record-keeping and compliance with all necessary tax/company laws.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements ( MIS, balance sheets and income statements).
• Prepare year-end books for audit.
• Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Respond to inquiries from employees regarding budgets, disbursement, and other finance-related queries.
• Any other assigned duties with respect to review of Tally/Accounts, GST returns, TDS returns etc.

Qualification and Experience

• Masters or equivalent in accounting, Finance or related fileds (Qualified CA or Semi Qualified CA is preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in tax and other statutory regulations (Income-tax Act, GST, TDS, PF, PT & Company Law etc.)
• Hands on experience with accounting software (Tally) and MS office tools. (Advances proficiency in excel is a must)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English and Hindi. (Proficiency in Hindi will be an added advantage)
• Highly motivated, Team Player, Flexible and adaptable to trive and think clearly under pressure.
