Position: Accountant

Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, PF, and ESI filings as per statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies.
• Assist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and cost control.
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for smooth financial operations.
• Manage invoices, receipts, and payment schedules.
• Support payroll processing and ensure timely disbursements.
• Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M.Com or CA Inter preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
