Job description
We're Hiring: Senior Accountant
Location: Koyilandy, Kerala
Institute: Dr.JP's Classes – Leading Medical Entrance Coaching Centre
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years , Prefered Edutec EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting
Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledgers
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.)
Work with the management team on budgeting and financial planning
Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in the education sector)
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and relevant financial software
Strong understanding of taxation and compliance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
