Accountant cum Computer Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant Cum Computer Operator to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain records, handle data entry, and support administrative operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of basic accounting, computer operations, and office software.

Experience Required: 1–3 Years

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Work

• Maintain daily cash book, ledger, fee records, vouchers, and expense files
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment statements
• Handle petty cash and reconcile accounts regularly
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
• Ensure timely fee updates and maintain student accounts (if for college)

Computer & Office Operations

• Data entry, document management, and record keeping
• Prepare letters, reports, and official documents
• Manage Excel sheets, Google Sheets, and basic data tracking
• Assist in admission-related data updates (college-specific)
• Maintain digital files and backups

Administrative Support

• Coordinate with staff, students, and vendors
• Handle calls, emails, and communication records
• Support office operations and ensure smooth workflow

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of accounting basics (Tally preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) & Google Workspace
• Strong typing and data-entry skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
• Good communication and time-management skills

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime (added advantage)
