The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions at the billing counter efficiently and accurately. This role includes operating the point-of-sale system, managing daily cash and card payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers courteously and handle billing at the counter.
Scan products, process sales, and issue receipts using the POS system.
Accept and process payments (cash, card, or other digital modes).
Ensure correct pricing and discounts are applied.
Count cash at the beginning and end of the shift and reconcile with sales.
Maintain accurate daily cash and card sales reports.
Keep the cashier counter clean, tidy, and well-organized.
Coordinate with the sales team to resolve any price or billing-related issues.
Follow company procedures for returns, refunds, and exchange billing.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company financial information.

Requirements:

Only male candidates required

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of cashiering or retail experience.
Knowledge of basic accounting and handling cash.
Familiarity with POS systems and billing software.
Honest, reliable, and good with numbers.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stay calm and efficient during peak hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
