Retail Cashier

Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions at the billing counter efficiently and accurately. This role includes operating the point-of-sale system, managing daily cash and card payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area.

• Greet customers courteously and handle billing at the counter.
• Scan products, process sales, and issue receipts using the POS system.
• Accept and process payments (cash, card, or other digital modes).
• Ensure correct pricing and discounts are applied.
• Count cash at the beginning and end of the shift and reconcile with sales.
• Maintain accurate daily cash and card sales reports.
• Keep the cashier counter clean, tidy, and well-organized.
• Coordinate with the sales team to resolve any price or billing-related issues.
• Follow company procedures for returns, refunds, and exchange billing.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company financial information.

Requirements:

Only male candidates required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of cashiering or retail experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and handling cash.
• Familiarity with POS systems and billing software.
• Honest, reliable, and good with numbers.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during peak hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
