We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Process accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant laws
Manage tax filings and assist with audits
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
Work Environment:
Office-based role (hybrid/remote options may be available depending on the organization)
Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday
May require occasional overtime during financial reporting periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
