Accountant & Bookkeeper (Client Account Management)

Job Summary

We are a growing accountancy and bookkeeping firm seeking a skilled professional who can handle client accounts independently. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on bookkeeping experience, and the ability to manage client relationships with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and reconciliations
• Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely manner
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with tax filings and compliance requirements
• Communicate directly with clients regarding financial queries and updates
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of all client records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or similar)
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Excellent communication skills and client management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with international clients
• Familiarity with tax laws and compliance procedures
• Certification (CA Inter, CPA, ACCA, etc.)
