What you'll do

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Oversee invoice verification, payment processing, and accurate AP/AR reporting.
• Assist with tax return preparation and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal financial controls and procedures.
• Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Use accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Advanced Exce

• Present financial data clearly, both in written reports and verbally, to internal teams and management.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or working toward certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US accounting standards.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
