Accountancy Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Accountancy Teacher to join our Commerce faculty. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students from Grades 9,10,11 to 12 (CBSE/ICSE/PUC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons in Accountancy in line with the curriculum.
• Teach concepts including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, financial statements, and cost accounting.
• Use a variety of teaching techniques and resources to meet students' individual learning needs.
• Prepare question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in preparation for board examinations, project work, and practical's.
• Maintain records of students' progress and performance.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Collaborate with other faculty members in the Commerce stream (e.g., Economics, Business Studies).
• Encourage analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, and ethical financial practices among students.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce( M.Com), preferably with specialization in Accountancy.
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per education board requirements).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
• Familiarity with CBSE / ICSE / State Board curriculum.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using digital tools for teaching and assessments.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to integrate technology into teaching (e.g., MS Excel, Tally basics, digital boards).
• Experience in preparing students for board and competitive exams.
• Passionate about teaching and student development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
