Account Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.).
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting best practices.
• Coordinate with management for financial planning and decision-making.
• Handle payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• Professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, etc.) will be an added advantage.
• 4–5 years of proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
