Job Description

The Territory Manager (Industrial Division) position at Graco is crucial for accomplishing the mission of developing and maintaining a profitable customer base for Graco Industrial Equipment in the West India Territory. Your primary focus will be on working closely with Key Industrial Distributors, End Users, Material Suppliers, and Integrators to meet sales and contribution objectives within various industries such as Automotive Feeders, Electronics, Home Appliance, Packaging, Solar, and other general industries. Your responsibilities will include driving sales growth, managing and developing distributors, and enhancing your knowledge of products, applications, and industries. You will play a key role in planning and communicating effectively, as well as coordinating Graco opportunities through global contacts. As the Territory Manager, you will be expected to grow sales and profits, develop distributors with application expertise, and stay informed about competitive activities in the market. Conducting sales presentations, implementing territory and promotion plans, and actively participating in the Sales Force Program are essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will work on distributor management and development by building a strong distributor base, setting annual sales targets, and resolving conflicts or issues with distributors. Developing a thorough understanding of product features, application technologies, and industry needs will be critical for your success in this position. To be successful in this role, you should have 5 to 7 years of relevant sales experience, a Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or marketing field, and effective communication skills. Demonstrated leadership, professionalism, and the ability to work independently are essential qualities for this position. Traveling up to 50-60% of the time and working from a home-based office may be required.
