Job Description

As an experienced female accountant with a background in the restaurant or hospitality sector, you will be joining The Cafe SHAKESPEARE in Thrissur. The Cafe SHAKESPEARE is a renowned restaurant known for its unique vibe and quality service. Your role will involve managing the financial aspects of daily operations to ensure smooth functioning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain daily sales reports and effectively manage cash flow - Track and record purchase entries, stock movement, and expenses - Prepare and manage monthly profit & loss reports - Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other compliance documents - Utilize accounting software such as Tally or Excel for accurate record-keeping - Collaborate with management for financial planning and budgeting purposes **Candidate Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a restaurant/cafe setting - Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and understanding of restaurant accounting flow - Detail-oriented, honest, and punctual work ethic - Female candidates only - Based in or around Thrissur The working hours for this full-time position are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility based on operational needs. You should be prepared for day shifts and be able to reliably commute to Thrissur, Kerala, or plan to relocate before starting work. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a total of 2 years of work experience in a similar role would be advantageous.,
