Job Description

1. Inventory Monitoring & Control

Oversee daily stock movement across warehouses, distributors, and manufacturing units.
Maintain real-time stock accuracy between physical stock and ERP.
Monitor inbound/outbound stock, batch tracking, expiry/near-expiry management.

2. Stock Audit & Compliance

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual stock audits across all locations.
Identify variances, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with SOPs for stock handling, FIFO/FEFO, and inventory hygiene.

3. Reconciliation & Reporting

Perform regular stock reconciliation between physical stock, ERP, and finance books.
Validate GRNs, delivery challans, and sales returns.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on stock, ageing, wastages, and variances.

4. Process Improvement & Controls

Develop and implement strong internal controls to prevent stock losses, pilferage, and mismanagement.
Conduct audits for packaging materials, raw materials, and finished goods consumption.
Work closely with production, warehouse, and sales teams to tighten process accuracy.

5. Coordination with Cross-functional Teams

Liaise with warehouse managers, production teams, logistics partners, and finance.
Coordinate with procurement for GRN issues, shortages, and excesses.
Support sales team with stock allocation, dispatch planning, and fulfilment accuracy.

6. System & Documentation Management

Ensure all stock entries are accurate and on time in ERP (SAP / Tally).
Maintain proper documentation: GRN, GDN, challans, audits, consumption reports, variance logs.
Manage SKU-level data: BOM, batch details, expiry, MRP changes, and stock adjustments.
