Account Manager/ Sr. Account Manager

Role Purpose

financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, budgeting, and financial governance

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Accounting

• Oversee

  end-to-end accounting operations

  including GL, cost centers, JV entries, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely

  monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing

• Prepare and review

  financial statements

  in compliance with Accounting Standards / Ind AS
• Monitor

  cash flow, fund utilization, and working capital management

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with

  GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPFO, ESIC, Professional Tax

  , and other statutory requirements
• Review and file

  GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return)

  and handle assessments
• Manage

  TDS deductions, filings, reconciliations, and Form 16/16A

• Liaise with tax authorities and resolve notices, audits, and assessments
  

Audit & Governance

• Lead

  internal, statutory, and tax audits

  and ensure timely closure of audit observations
• Coordinate with

  external auditors, consultants, and regulators

• Strengthen

  internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks

• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory audit standards
  

Budgeting & Reporting

• Prepare

  annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

• Track project-wise / cost-center-wise expenses and utilization
  
• Support management with

  MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights

• Review and validate

  vendor invoices, reimbursements, and payments

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Guide and mentor

  accounts and finance teams

• Coordinate with

  HR, operations, procurement, and project teams

• Support leadership in

  financial decision-making and risk assessment
