Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting activities (AP/AR, general ledger, bank entries).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage project-wise accounting for real estate projects.
Handle invoicing, receipts, payments, and reconciliation.
Monitor cash flow, project budgets, and fund requirements.
Prepare and verify contractor bills, vendor bills, and material bills.
Coordinate with the sales/CRM team for customer payments and outstanding follow-ups.
Maintain books of accounts as per company policies and statutory requirements.
Handle GST, TDS, PT, and other statutory compliances.
Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.
Maintain MIS reports and submit them to management on time.
Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of balance sheet.
Ensure proper record-keeping of agreements, invoices, purchase orders, and vouchers.
Coordinate with banks for transactions, project loans, and reconciliations.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of real estate accounting
Proficiency in Tally / ERP software
Good understanding of GST, TDS & statutory filings
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Good communication and coordination skills
