About the Role This position involves receiving calls from potential customers and making cold call to new potential clients, client business referrals, or web leads. Provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered, and additional presentations as needed. Work with client to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process. This position will only base in Bangalore office. What You’ll Do Manage the evaluation and opensource leads to convert to solid business opportunities Responsible to drive inbound and outbound calls, to focus on maintaining and expanding business relationships/market share with existing and new customers. Marketing events support to identify and follow up the leads from the events. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure Effectively articulates the value proposition associated with Qt’s products and services. About the Role We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team, focusing on Qt for MCUs. This position will be based in Bangalore. What You’ll Do Research, identify, contact, and engage with potential clients to generate new Qt for MCU business opportunities, contributing to achieving sales targets. Analyze market trends and customers’ needs to identify and develop new markets for Qt for MCU. Strengthen relationships with existing customers and partners while attracting new ones. Continuously update and acquire in-depth knowledge of Qt for MCU offerings. Tailor and deliver customized presentations, demos, and examples to showcase the value of Qt for MCU, aligning with customers' project requirements across various industries, including but not limited to Automotive, Two Wheelers, Industrial Automation, Industrial Vehicles, Medical, Consumer Electronics & etc. Plan and participate in webinars, seminars, conferences, customized workshops, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads by demonstrating the value of Qt for MCU through specific examples and demos. Collaborate with Qt for MCU product’s Product Management, R&D, and Marketing teams to convey customer feedback and develop effective strategies to communicate the benefits of Qt for MCU to potential clients. Cooperate with the Sales team to create and transfer the Qt for MCU business opportunity to the Sales team for a deal close. What You Bring to the Table Customer-oriented salesperson. Willingness to travel regularly, for customer meetings and marketing events Strong team player and communicator Proactive self-starter with minimal guidance Bonus Points For MCU FAE Experience GUI Application implementation/promotion experience is preferred (Touch GFX/Embedded Wizard/LVGL/Emwin/CGI Studio/MicroEJ and etc.) Deep understanding of MCU graphics technology and how it applies to a customer’s business along with MCU chipset buying decisions, is preferred. About the Role We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Business Development Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on Qt for MCUs. This unique role blends the responsibilities of a traditional Solutions Engineer with key missions dedicated to supporting our Business Development Manager and expanding our ecosystem. You will be the technical backbone for our Qt for MCUs initiatives, providing pre-sales and post-sales support, while also driving demo enablement, technical knowledge sharing, and contributing to ecosystem growth. If you are passionate about embedded technology, skilled in customer-facing technical roles, and eager to contribute to business growth, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This position will be based in Bangalore. What You’ll Do Collaborate with the Business Development Specialist as a sales engineer to provide technical support and identify new leads for Qt for MCU opportunities. Join customer meetings to understand and discuss technical requirements, promoting the technical advantages of Qt for MCU in support of the Business Development Specialist. Continuously enhance expertise in Qt for MCU offerings. Prepare and deliver customized presentations, demos, and examples to demonstrate its value, aligning with diverse project requirements in industries such as Automotive, Two-Wheelers, Industrial Automation, Medical, and Consumer Electronics. Deliver technical training sessions and customer-specific trials to ensure effective product evaluation & adoption. Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Marketing teams to communicate customer feedback and devise strategies to effectively convey Qt's product value to clients. What You Bring to the Table +5 Years of FAE experience, preferably in selling MCU/MPU chipsets or in embedded software domain in the consumer, industrial, automotive or IoT markets. BS/MS degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Excellent C/C++ Programming Skills Experience with Production experience of MCU GUI (lvgl, Epromm) application support as FAE.
