Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Account Ownership

  • Act as the primary owner of assigned client accounts.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, regular updates, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the agency's work.
  • Lead client calls, reviews, and alignment discussions independently.
  • Identify risks early and escalate with solutions not problems.

Strategic Thinking & Planning

  • Understand why each activity is being executed not just what is being done.
  • Translate business objectives into structured digital and social strategies.
  • Provide strategic inputs on content direction, platform selection, and campaign approach.
  • Guide junior team members on context, priorities, and execution logic.

Execution Ownership & Delivery

  • Own timelines, task tracking, and closure across all deliverables.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between creative, content, media, SEO, and web teams.
  • Maintain high execution hygiene minimal errors, rework, or missed deliverables.
  • Monitor execution health and ensure work moves as planned.

Social Media & Platform Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of Meta, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and content formats.
  • Oversee content calendars, campaign rollouts, and platform-specific execution.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, quality, and brand alignment across platforms.
  • Reduce platform-level errors through clear briefing and quality checks.

Paid Media & Digital Awareness

  • Possess a working understanding of Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads fundamentals.
  • Coordinate effectively with media teams on briefs, creatives, timelines, and performance.
  • Ensure paid, SEO, and social efforts are aligned under one strategic direction.

Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Read dashboards, understand performance metrics, and identify trends.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting with clear summaries for clients and leadership.
  • Convert data into insights, not just numbers.
  • Track KPIs, delivery status, and account stability consistently.

Process, Productivity & Tools

  • Maintain clean task tracking using tools like Asana, Trello, Slack, Excel, and PPT.
  • Ensure zero missed deliverables through structured follow-ups and documentation.
  • Maintain meeting notes, MOMs, and action trackers without dependency.

GenAI & Emerging Tech Usage

  • Use ChatGPT and AI tools to improve efficiency, drafting, ideation, and planning.
  • Apply AI meaningfully faster turnarounds, better briefs, sharper thinking.
  • Encourage responsible AI usage within the team for productivity gains.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Account Management - Strong ownership of day-to-day operations, timelines, and execution
  • Strategic Awareness - Clear understanding of objectives, rationale, and outcomes
  • Social Media Platforms - Meta, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube formats & best practices
  • Paid Media Awareness - Working knowledge of Meta, LinkedIn & Google Ads fundamentals
  • Analytics & Reporting- Dashboard reading, performance analysis, clear summaries
  • Client Communication- Confident, clear, and structured email & verbal communication
  • Creative Process - Understanding of creative workflows & film/video production
  • Productivity Tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Asana/Trello, Slack
  • GenAI & Tech - ChatGPT & AI tools for efficiency and ideation

KPIs / Success Metrics (Senior AM Scorecard)

  • Reliability - Can the team trust you to run the account independently day-to-day
  • Account Stability - Client confidence, reduced escalations, smooth operations
  • Execution Health - Is work moving as planned with minimal errors or delays
  • Strategic Awareness- Do you understand and explain why things are being done
  • Chaos Control- Is the account calm, organised, and proactive vs reactive
  • Leadership Readiness- Are you stepping up, guiding juniors, and owning outcomes

Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
  • 47 years of experience in digital or social media account management (agency side preferred).
  • Exposure to managing multiple brands and stakeholders independently.
