𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨:   

As an Account Manager, you will be an integral part of fueling the continued growth of our business by leading, crafting, and executing strategies associated with selling our financial operations, people operations, and risk services. 

 

A successful Account Manager at Escalon is connected in the entrepreneurial and tech ecosystem, has great people skills, the ability to articulate our value proposition, and can identify opportunities and close business.


𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

  • Network with entrepreneurs, founders and start up people at events and co-working locations.
  • Build quality relationships with key service providers in order to generate referrals.
  • Perform needs analysis of potential clients.
  • Coordinate sales effort with cross-functional team members within the US and India.
  • Prepare proposals that present, promote, and sell our services using solid arguments to prospective clients.
  • Manage the sales pipeline updates.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.


𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬:

  • 5+ years as an account manager or sales representative
  • Understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including payroll, tax, and 
  • Oral and Written Communication

    — 
  • English proficiency, demonstrated both written and in verbal
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification;
  • Planning/Organizing--

    Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans.
  • Relationship Management—

    Builds trust, respects the needs of others, takes the time to understand the other person’s point of view, speaks the client’s language, understands what drives them, and knows exactly when to translate what you know into action. 
  • Work Environment –

     Has the ability to work effectively within a remote setting with the expectation to visit client locations and attend associated events. 
  • Travel –

     This role requires up to 25% travel.
  • Technology –

    Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite and familiar with BRM and CRM practices.


This is a 3-month contractual role with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
