Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain books of accounts including vouchers, ledgers, and journals.
  • Prepare and post accounting entries for expenses, revenues, and accruals.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Process vendor bills, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable filings.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.

Job Purpose

The Account Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities in SAP, ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with statutory and company financial policies.
