Job Description

Job Description: Accounts Executive / Accountant

Position: Accounts Executive / Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: [Mathur, chennai]

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, ledger management).
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and journal entries.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Support in audits and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, etc.).
0-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficient in MS Excel, Tally ERP, or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards).
Knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
